                                   Federation Fact:  Rogers became the first Federation Champion after he was awarded the belt by promoters who split from the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).

2.  May 17, 1963
                Bruno Sammartino (New York, NY)
                                   Federation Fact:  On July 15, 1967, Sammartino lost to Ray "Crippler" Stevens in a match in San Francisco, California.  Although Stevens was declared the new champion at the arena, Federation officials failed to recognize him nationally.  Sammartino remains the defending Champion.

                Bob Backluand
                                   Federation Fact:  After a decision by Federation officials, Backluand returns to North America as Champion.
                                   October 19, 1981 Federation Fact:  Greg "The Hammer" Valentine is mistakenly given the title after Backluand actually beats him.  Backluand wins the rematch that night and reclaims the gold.

                                Federation Fact:  Austin protested that the Undertaker was the one that made him bleed and demanded a rematch.  He got his rematch with Kane and WON!

                                Federation Fact:  Stone Cold fought against Kane and The Undertaker in a Triple Threat Match.  At the conclusion of that match Kane and The Undertaker pinned Stone Cold at the same time.  They will fight at the next P-P-V to determine the new Champion.  Stone Cold will be the Special Guest Referee.
